Pujiang Xianhua Reservoir Project is a comprehensive utilization hydraulic project mainly for irrigation and water supply in combination with the power generation hosted by the Pujiang Government for the purpose of improving the county's irrigation worsening drought and water shortage, easing the county's industrial and domestic water shortage conditions and promoting tourism industry of Pujiang Xianhua Mountain provincial scenic area.
The project is the first water infrastructure project set up in accordance with the BOT mode within the province, making a good attempt for broadening financing channels of construction of water infrastructure of government. Our company won in the public bidding and then set up a wholly-owned investment company - Zhejiang Pujiang Xianhua Reservoir Investment Co., Ltd. As the largest water project since the reform and opening up in Pujiang County, the project has a total investment of RMB 111.74 million, the total capacity of 11.58 million cubic meters with an annual water supply of 11.68 million cubic meters as a medium-sized reservoir. It started in December 2003, impounded in April 2006 and passed the completion acceptance in June 2009.
As the first project established according to BOT mode, it is a bold attempt to enter the field of industrial investment, having a positive meaning to improve the company's overall performance, enhance their ability to resist risks and promote enterprise development.
